Mawj takes its form from repetition: concentric ridges following one deep curve, the way a swell arrives ridge after ridge, each one shaped by the last. Not a single wave held still. The same water, returning.
وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا۟ مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا
